@forteller Windows does this. Microsoft calls it Delivery Optimization.

@forteller I guess you can use actual torrents for that, but not sure if there's that much of a benefit. Most distros allow you to choose a regional server to download from. Some distros were previously available as official torrents, but I don't think it is common anymore.
