Three rows in, and it’s starting to look like something!

I’ve only had little bits of time here and there to work on it, so I’ve been writing notes to myself in my phone like “you ended with a DC, CH and turn. Next step: start a row with SC”

#crochet friends: how do you avoid the dread of having the hook fall out and everything unravel when you store your unfinished project?

@brainofdane Stitch markers work great, but if you don't have one, the simplest way is just to use the hook to pull out the loop so that it's extra long. Then when you want to start up again, insert the hook in the loop and then tighten the loop back to its normal size.

Of course, things like safety pins or bobbie pins can work as a stitch marker in a pinch.
