#Blackstone owns 300k homes. Very Neofeud 'Let Them Eat Cake' moment from pre-guillotine Star Spangled Versailles. The aristocracy didn't even bother to take the 'lord' out of 'landlord' when they put the 'capitalist democracy' mask on. (second pic is Neofeud in-game screenshots)

Blackstone is now the largest corporate
landlord on Earth with over 300,000
homes in the U.S.
Billionaires and corporations have bought
millions of homes and either raised rents
or left them as empty investments.
There are 16 million vacant houses—28
for every homeless person.

Is that first quote for real? The "we the nonfeudal elite" one? Did a rich person say that unironically?

"Neofeud is packed with passion, personality, and powerful political commentary. When you play, you're stepping into someone's bold and deeply personal vision of the future." --Steam reviewer https://store.steampowered.com/app/673850/Neofeud/ #indiedev #indiegame #retrogames #dystopian

The game is made almost entirely by one person (Chris Miller, a.k.a. Silver Spook), and is
packed with passion, personality, and powerful political commentary. When you play, you're
stepping into someone's bold and deeply personal vision of the future. And it's dystopian,
hilarious, weird, and disturbingly relevant.
The story is what really hooked me. Its smart, satirical, and goes deeper than you may expect
given all the pop culture references in the dialogues on social issues affecting people now and
atthe time of release. It uses dark humor, sci-fi weirdness, and clever writing to make its point
in a way that sticks with you if you take the time to try and understand both the direct and
underlying themes and references, and it's greatly enhanced if you read the creator's social
media channels or hang around the streams, where they talk deeply about where a lot of the
influences come from.
Visually, the game has a raw, gritty art style that some might call rough or offputting at first,
but I found it incredibly charming and fitting. It's not glossy, it's not clean, and that's exactly
why it works. It fs and feels handmade, ived-in, punk and real. And it's the same about the:
Voice acting, every character has distinct personality and delivery, which adds a ton of depth to
