@cstross, I heard that story this morning too and… had much the same reaction. I had to listen carefully to be sure that I'd heard it right.

@cstross the word my late mother-in-law used was “catsfarty” - but she rarely used any really bad language! Miss her loads!

I partially agree with this specific statement of Farage... but apologizing will certainly not be enough to be "the right thing".

@cstross - as the number of assholes in power increases, the chance that one will correctly point out flaws in another grows quadratically. In the US that's almost all we have left to enjoy.
