Likewise I don't think Farage's "and apologize" was anything but calculated. It's the first step towards lining up litigation and not only did Kyle walk straight into it, he did it outside the walls of the house.
It is uncomfortable when mainstream politicians are defending something as stupid as the #onlinesafetyact and failing to make the slightest concession that their approach may be wrong.
But it is: and we need mainstream politicians to start to unpick what is happening here. It is not some unmitigated success and we do not just need to do more of the same.
