Itch.io has had to shadow ban all erotic and NSFW content after pressure from payment providers https://itch.io/updates/update-on-nsfw-content . Payment providers are increasingly become censors of content raising issues around neutrality of banking and payment systems. #censorship #visa #mastercard

@JamesBaker Some years ago when paypal started doing this, there were lists of alternative, non-censoring payment providers circulating ... are there any now?

@kkarhan Yea problem is authorities have Monroe and privacy coins in their crosshairs https://www.cpomagazine.com/data-privacy/eu-looks-to-ban-privacy-coins-and-anonymous-crypto-accounts-by-2027/ in afraid we are heading to a future of total financial surveillance which is then used to control what can and can’t be purchased or traded
