@EUCommission Without making a moral judgement, I see that imposing sanctions on Israel will only lead to an escalation to the suffering in Gaza, as Israel will then be closer to a ‘nothing to lose’ scenario. This can be used as a bargaining chip and increase aid to Gaza as has been done. The way to end the current scenario is to return the hostages and thus the ball is in the court of Hamas. The people of Gaza should be putting tremendous pressure on Hamas to do so.
