@elena Ooh, going to have a look into Varnish, nice blog post - cheers. My own experience with self-DDoSing https://6days.exmosis.net was to update to a Raspberry Pi 3, and cache stuff with Hummingbird. Not sure if I get 4,000 hits when posting, but I guess the dedicated hardware helps... I'd have to check the server setup below that though - nginx might be serving up static files too.
