David Suzuki says we lost the fight for climate, says things are going to get a lot harder, that now is the time to prepare, and to do this together:
"For me, what we’ve got to do now is hunker down. The units of survival are going to be local communities, so I’m urging local communities to get together."
It is absurd that we let a small minority vandalize our world with impunity.
FWIW, it is my opinion that it is not a case of 'throwing in the towel' (and I guess he argues the same), rather that we must continue the fight to the ends of damage minimisation, even if we know our environment is going to become significantly more difficult to inhabit. It can always be worse tomorrow with insufficient action today.
