Have long loved the political humour expressed by ordinary people oppressed by the police states of the Warsaw Pact back in the 1980s and earlier.

My favourite Soviet joke concerned the three Czechoslovak Secret Policemen. Updated for modern times it goes:

Q: Why do #ICE agents always go around in threes?

A: Because one can read; one can write, and the third is there to keep an eye on the two dangerous intellectuals...
