Rep #HakeemJeffries has highlighted the case of a 2-year-old #US #citizen known as “VML” who was detained with her mother & sister, who both lacked legal status to be in the United States, at a routine #immigration check-in in New Orleans & subsequently deported to Honduras with no meaningful #DueProcess.
As a #UScitizen “deported” to Honduras, #VML is now effectively stateless.
