This mornings "harvest": two pounds (about 1 kilo) of fresh blueberries and about 3 dozen cucumber beetles picked off the plants with my "sticky" stick. Good news! The first corn planting is starting to top out!. Now off to make some more blueberry pies for BeetBear.

A ten inch tall (25cm), light brown teddy bear in green overalls sits looking directly at the camera. His name is BeetBear. He is holding a beet in his right paw. There is a bunch of beets embroidered on the bib of his overalls. In front of him is a vintage yellow Tupperware strainer containing 2 pounds (about 1 kilo) of ripe blueberries.
A small white plastic cup with about 3 dozen cucumber beetles and 1 squash beetle stuck to the rim. I the cup is a flat wooden plant marker stick covered in sticky stuff.
