Most documentation for printing from Android to a Linux print server (using CUPS) indicates that the printer should be autodiscovered, or that the IP address only can be specified. But Android 14 and 15 do not autodiscover my printer on a network server. The short note at https://miek.nl/2024/february/24/printing-from-android/ describes how the IP address and the printer name must be specified. The printer name should be as given by the 'lpstat' command on the print server.
