Import from IG is one of our most popular features.
We're working hard to bring it back with:
- Intelligent schema detector (to support any Import, no matter how old it is)
- Better support for webp and other mime types
- Imported posts will be Public instead of Unlisted
- Improved support for large imports
- Re-import existing posts
We can't overwhelm other fediverse servers with your imports, so they will be public, but not sent to your followers or appear in the local feed.
