We saw some serious team work at our January repair cafe.
A much loved child's teddy bear came in for repair and after Ann stitched it, Juliet, one of our tea and coffee volunteers, started stuffing it. And when Juliet had to go, Mim, another attendee, finished stuffing it while she waited for her own item to be fixed.
That's the community spirit we love to see!
Mim, a woman with light skin tone and long curly brown hair, sewing up a small child's teddy which is now fully stuffed, while chatting to a child in a woolly hat. Across the table from her Ann, a woman with light skin tone and short brown hair, is sewing a black jacket and listening to the conversation.

On the table in front of them are all sorts of sewing paraphernalia. Beind them are more tables of repair cafe with people chatting and working on things.
