Barclays is a ‘primary dealer’ of Israel government bonds, meaning it has a direct agreement with Israel to help it sell bonds to fund the cost of the genocide. It is the only UK headquartered bank to play this role. It also provides £8.1 billion of investment and loans to arms companies supplying Israel with weapons and military technology.
