I have a Nexus 2012 tablet lying around, aka #grouper, that is in the community section of supported #postmarketos devices. In theory, even most of the hardware should be supported.

However, the installation/flash instructions are such obscure, vague and unspecific that I won't risk to brick it.

Perhaps I'll revisit #postmarketos in some year or so when it gets more clear from the wiki what one is exactly supposed to do to install it.

I would very much appreciate a serious alternative to #android , but #postmarketos sadly seems still to be too far away from any practical use besides some nerdy tinkering around.

(Yes, I am very familiar with flashing custom roms, even compiled some by myself, but after approx. 30 minutes of wiki reading I still have no clue how to install it.)
