You never know what toddlers are thinking about how the world works. Told my daughter last night that New York was playing in the women’s soccer championship against Washington DC, and asked her who we were going to cheer for. She said “Giancarlo.” So then I had to differentiate baseball from soccer, and the Yankees from Gotham FC, and then explain the concept of women’s sports.
