Said goodbye to Broadcast in 2016 and never looked back.
They've never had anything that I've urgently needed to see, the few comedy series I enjoy I catch on the high seas, sometimes years after the fact.
Broadcast just doesn't work for us Millennials and the Iplayer is a chore to use and isn't the full library. We want control with our viewing.

The thug you sent round to 'enquire' as to our viewing arrangements sealed the deal.

Also, I don't know what the fuck goes on at the BBC but the torrent of sex abuse crimes coming from that organisation puts me off funding it.

The Licence Fee is a Poll Tax.
There are other ways to fund it without compromising on it's (lol) 'independence'

Its analysis of BBC accounts found that the licence fee evasion rate is now at
12.5%, costing it up to 拢550m. The number of households to state they have
no need for a licence, because they do not consume BBC content, has risen
from 2.4m in 2021 to 3.6m this year. That equates to a loss of up to 拢617m
from potential fees.

Despite making nearly 2m visits to unlicensed homes last year, prosecutions
fell by 17% in 2024.
