Pains me that I just opened two new tabs with intent:
1 - To find local, indie makers of arts and crafts.
2 - To find out the latest updates from my family.
And both of the only places I can think of to get those two things are Instagram (1) and Facebook (2).
And then if I want to message my friends, it'll be WhatsApp (3). I'm trapped in the Metaverse. That's where everyone is. People aren't moving.
The company Northern Playground is has a campaign right now where they are trying to ditch advertising on Meta products.
