"He has little faith in Labour stopping them and recently joined the Green party. “Their slogan – make hope normal again – is what we need,” he says. “It’s like Harvey Milk saying, ‘You’ve got to give them hope.’ We have to have hope. We’re on this really horrific curve but we will come out the other side eventually. We’ve just got to ride this out.”
