Update from Community Food Share, a local food bank.

Stolen funding for food: $1.5M+ in Nov so far for the counties.
State donation: $350k

I'm sure even at our most generous, folks haven't donated an add'l $1.2M. So, a pretty big gap for feeding people.

If you can, send some money or food to a local food bank.

WHAT WE KNOW TODAY

* SNAP benefits are still paused
* 100% of our partners and programs have seen a significant increase
* Your support, plus $350k in state emergency funding, is already purchasing proteins, produce, and pantry staples
* Even combined, these funds cover only a portion of the $4.5M in monthly SNAP support our counties typically receive.
* At 1.5 weeks into Novemeber, the pause equalys $1.6 - 1.7M less in grocery support for local households.
