My latest sock toy is finally complete: three headed hydra, imagined by 7yo and made by me. He's got six arms and three legs, which was a real pain to construct.
Entirely made from old clothes and scraps! Most of his decorations came from a pair of bejeweled gloves (the fingers are his legs). He has a pipe cleaner skeleton which makes him poseable. This was my first attempt at armature and I learned a lot!

The hydra seen from the front. It is mostly black, red, and white. You can really get a good view of the heads' slightly goofy expressions. Each limb has little felt claws.
