GraspOS - Open Research Assessment Dataspace. Next Generation Research Assessment to Promote Open Science
Zoom

Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: 6th GraspOS Webinar: Reforming Researcher Assessment with OPUS. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.

Research assessment is traditionally focused on publications in high-impact factor journals and bibliometrics despite the fact that researchers conduct a wide variety of activities in their daily lives. The recent shift towards Open Science is also typically ignored in assessment. The OPUS project is developing a Researcher Assessment Framework (RAF) which offers a comprehensive suite of indicators for universities and research funders to reform how they assess their researchers and incentivise and reward Open Science. Speaker: Gareth O’Neill (Technopolis Group and OPUS Project) Moderator: Zenia Xenou (OpenAIRE) * This webinar will be recorded and the recording will be shared via the organiser's channels. By registering you accept the terms on which it will take place.
