Now playing this beautiful album/track from Barry Adamson and Pan Sonic, co-mixed/-produced by Jóhann Jóhannsson, with a remix by the Hafler Trio on side B. Originally put out by the Kitchen Motors label in 2001, they got composer Magnús Blöndal Jóhannsson to agree to have a brain scan while listening to it; his brainwaves from that scan are printed on the original digipak and on the labels of the vinyl reissue.

Magnús Blöndal Jóhannsson is apparently the first person in Iceland to have composed electronic music, specifically the first piece on this album, Elektrónísk Stúdía, written in 1959. (Warning: Might not be kind to your tinnitus.)
