With a little bit of work, I made a tube that held the Anscoflex at the bottom and my Pentax dSLR on top. The result was an awkward 3 foot shaft that swung from my neck to my waist... but it allowed me to take digital pictures through the viewfinder of the Anscoflex without any stray light hitting the viewfinder from the sides.
The distorted results were charming: not remarkable in content but merely simple snapshots of city scenes taken from a waist-level perspective.
Add: teh downward-pointing tube dangling from my neck started a lot of conversations with strangers as I wandered around North Beach and Chinatown.
