For a number of years I've nurtured the idea of developing my editing skills, and in effect, retraining as a book editor.
I edit commercial copy, reports, etc as part of my current freelance work.
I've wanted to develop this further, and as a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction, as well as a creative writing postgrad, I think I have some relevant core skills and aptitudes.
2026 is going to be the year where I sign up for courses and give it a go. #editing #bookediting
