They aren’t pristine b/c they caught a bit of rain and then dried again.
When you’re done with them, you can just set them outside and let the seeds fall to Earth. I think the birds would appreciate the silky stuff over the seeds when it’s time to build nests, too. It resembles the fluff you find in milkweed pods.
