Anyone built the fair mouse @info_1 offers as a kit and had it work? Mine processes clicks left and right, sort of anyway. But moving the mouse makes the pointer "wiggle a bit" and that's about it, there's no actual "movement" as in a certain direction. Now I *did* have a lot of problems soldering the USB wires to the PCB but I am pretty sure I got that cleaned up properly. Only "short" I measured was between ground and shielding and APPARENTLY that's standard? Maybe not? Anything else I could have messed up? I did notice a small tab on the bottom of the sensor but the instructions didn't talk about it. Was I supposed to remove that? Was that some kind of "lens protector" that makes it so the sensor is not doing its job now?
