@strypey I have PipePipe on my phone but lately they've been on the losing end of a battle to show videos to those of us whose devices/IPs/whatever are in Youtube viewing jail (login required) ... but I almost never watch long videos on my phone, so it's fine.

I still need a solution for integrating #QuodLibet smart playlists with my phone ... even an annoying one would be better than my current situation, where I only listen to my collection from a desktop OS

shuffle on my #QuodLibet "sunshower" smart playlist just paired The Weepies "Not A Lullaby" with Deb Talan's "Lullaby"

I was just thinking earlier that this particular smart playlist is pretty well dialed in ... not a lot of work needed on the query at this point, just gotta pseudo-tag moar songs to fill it out

the list of Android apps I'd like to build in a pipe-dream universe is growing.

* meditation timer (to learn Android dev)

* Fedilab fork with vast amounts of functionality deleted, to focus on multimedia-forward microblogging with what I personally consider to be correct UI/UX (which I bet many people would agree with)

* Peertube app with good UX

* FDroid NOAA weather app with good UX

* remote streaming client for #QuodLibet with full access to the query-based playlists

I think my brain is finally beginning to re-learn that my music collection is there, a while after my showstopper bug in #QuodLibet was fixed.

this is a big deal for many reasons, not least of which that it makes wearing noise-canceling headphones a lot easier / more appealing.

also, I fucking love music.
