Esto del UruguaySub 200 va a causar que dentro de unos años, la carrera de Biología se llene de estudiantes de Oceanografía y todos los rubros afines. Lo mismo pasó con el temporal del 2005 y unos años después, la carrera de Meteorología de Facultad de Ciencias se llenó de estudiantes de Ciencias de la Atmósfera, todo porque se habló y se habló del temporal en la TV, hablaron cuanto meteorólogo y meteoróloga había, fueron a todos los programas... Incluso Maddelein Renom dijo algunos años después, que la carrera de CIencias de la Atmósfera (que fue una carrera nueva que sustituyó a la de Meteorología), era hija del temporal del 2005. OMG. Right now the ROV is visiting a naufragio (shipwreck)! The destroyer ROU Uruguay, originally a US Navy ship from WWII, was intentionally sunk in 1995 when it reached end of life.

A little earlier, in the same scene, a large fish resting on the seafloor in a gap in the hull looks askance at the camera.
The ROV's claw arm holding a black-and-white-chequered scale bar in front of a very rusty part of a sunken ship which is now richly covered with colourful sea life.
Oh my goodness. At the very end of the stream, just as they were about to start hauling the ROV up, this beautiful octopus appeared and put on a show for the camera. How perfectly magical and serendipitous.

The ROV camera pans right to follow a red octopus that floats into view. It splays out its delicate webbed arms in petal-like curls, then pushes off, flapping two large "ears" on either side of its head, and glides offscreen.
