30 pull requests. 360 files changed. 73,000 lines of code. 5 days. Built by the community that needs it most.
This is not an overlay. It is a developer tool. One command install. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Desktop. Free. MIT licensed.
95.9% of the top million sites fail basic accessibility. AI is automating those failures at scale. @JeffBishop and I built this with the community to push back.
Star it. Try it. Break it. Tell us what is missing. (2/3)

Skills drift. Instructions get deprioritized. But an agent cannot forget its own identity.
Free. MIT licensed. Installs in thirty seconds. Works on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
Star it if you think AI-generated code should be accessible by default. Open an issue if you find gaps. Contribute if you have framework-specific patterns to add.

AI tools are reliably, predictably bad at accessibility. I am a screen reader user who codes with Claude Code every day, and I got tired of fighting for the basics.
So I built an open-source team of six AI agents that enforce WCAG 2.1 AA automatically. Each agent has one job it cannot forget. ARIA. Focus management. Contrast. Keyboard navigation. Live regions. And an orchestrator that coordinates them. (1/2)

Good news came from Germany: BIK rejects Overlays for EN/WCAG Compliance. Another step from one-size-fits-none tools towards mindful accessibility practices!

We must recognise: #ableism runs through the veins of our society. Its in the structures of our towns, cities and buildings. And its in the DNA of the essential sites and apps we use daily.
As developers, we can make a choice to NOT be a part of the problem. To take the time to learn about #WCAG , to survey disabled users and read about their experiences. We can make a more equal, more accessible internet. We just have to actually do it! 3/3
