Good news came from Germany: BIK rejects Overlays for EN/WCAG Compliance. Another step from one-size-fits-none tools towards mindful accessibility practices!
We must recognise: #ableism runs through the veins of our society. Its in the structures of our towns, cities and buildings. And its in the DNA of the essential sites and apps we use daily.
As developers, we can make a choice to NOT be a part of the problem. To take the time to learn about #WCAG , to survey disabled users and read about their experiences. We can make a more equal, more accessible internet. We just have to actually do it! 3/3
