Hey, we've built a tool that gives you a Podcast Score, depending on how many Podcasting 2.0 features your RSS feed has.

I'd like to test it a bit before we launch.

Wondering if a few of you can:

1. Test the "podcast score" with a few podcasts
2. Use the "Download PDF" button at the bottom.

Since this is with Spotify, looks like none of this will embrace the actual Podcast open RSS feed format.
More important than ever to defend "true" podcasts, and the open web format that undergirds it - and to strengthen apps and services that support that. #Podcasting2 #Podcast

#Podcasts are one of the most critical open web media formats we have - and needs to be defended and kept open from closed silos like YiuTube or Spotify. And integrating it further into the open social web. One of the most important battles for the open web going forward. #podcasting2 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lists/most-powerful-people-podcasting-2025/

That's why I started adding a simple sentence near the end or bottom of all my products. It's not there to brag; it's there to show a real person is behind the product, caring about his work, the podcasting industry, and especially the people he serves.

Today, you get to meet my newest product!

PodChapters™

Give it your outline and it will turn your points into chapters in seconds! Or let its AI find and suggest chapters for you!

It saves to legacy MP3 chapters, #Podcasting2.0 cloud chapters, Podlove Simple Chapters, YouTube timestamps, timestamped outline, and a speaker-labeled VTT transcript. It also handles your ID3 tags, even letting you save custom snippets and templates.

I'm disappointed with #podcast-hosting providers right now. Some are still missing important #Podcasting2.0 features. Some have missing or incorrectly implemented standard features. Some have more features but bad UI/UX.

It looks like I'll stick with PowerPress for now, but with custom coding. 😓
