I used to be much more determined to shoot #CityScapes with unique lighting. For this image, I'd set out on a chilly December evening and trained across town to get to my destination for near midnight - just in time for the full moon to eclipse near the peak of the #NewWestminsterBC Skytrain bridge.
For the wide scene, I ended up liking the image where the moon was entirely obscured by the bridge, creating a unique backlit appearance to the bridge where the stars were still partially visible.
