Three days until November!
If you were planning on doing #NaNoWriMo or have in the past, you may have just recently found out that the organization officially closed down earlier this year.
With amazingly good timing, I actually launched my own alternative site a year ago, #WritingMonth:
Writing Month allows you to set your own goal with various types and tracking method and work in any month while placing a strong emphasis on community and writing with your buddies. Feature development is a little slow as I'm currently finishing up my senior year of uni (🤞) but y'all's community support has been fantastic and I know things will only get better from here.

Tiens, j'apprends que le #NaNoWriMo, c'est terminé 🙁
La fondation qui encadrait le projet a mis la clef sous la porte (apparemment après avoir fait fuir une bonne partie de la communauté avec des politiques de modération désastreuses et des prises de positions moisies sur l'IA notamment…).
C'est triste, c'était un chouette projet, j'y avais participé en 2021, ça avait donné « Une Auberge dans la tempête », petit roman dont je suis toujours fier : https://editions.ptilouk.net/auberge/

Since #NaNoWriMo's website just went down, I think it's a good time for me to start up a second round of development towards #WritingMonth, my free and open source alternative goal tracking/sharing site.
