mi lon la, mi pona is something I say often.
Translated from #tokipona, it means something along the lines of "If I'm here, then I'm good". Like a lot of #clown thoughts, the phrase is dripping with philosophy and layers of poetry.
Today I found where I first used the phrase.
It was something I scrawled at the bottom of a journal entry about being present where you are and doing what you can to make it somewhere you want to be.
I just discovered that Larry, an inflatable red ball which I used to teach some #clown techniques in workshops, melted into a gooey mess during our escape from Texas.
As endings go, I think an object that taught fixed point and ensemble movement to hundreds of theater folks deserved better.
That said, this is the third or forth incarnation of Larry since I created the workshop. In time another will appear, and begin collecting its own stories.
