With the introduction of #decentralization into @badgefed I learned the concept of "wallet". A microcredentials wallet.
So, I made progress towards that goal, where users can see and manage their badges. Similar to #badgr, but decentralized, it does not matter from what badgefed (or other microcredentials) instance you are searching, you will be able to manage your badges. Hey! You can even self-host your own wallet and just receive badges there by following issuers!
Things are getting polished in time for the @fediforum , see you there!
The video showcases the BadgeFed website, a platform for creating, issuing, and verifying digital badges. It begins with a purple banner featuring the text "Empower Achievement with Digital Badges" and a call-to-action button labeled "Get Started." Below, three sections highlight the platform's features: "Secure & Verifiable," "Decentralized," and "Achievement Focused," each accompanied by relevant icons and descriptions.
The video then transitions to a page titled "Find Your Badges," where a search bar allows users to search for badges by name, username, or public URL. The search for "maho" results in a list of badges, including "Cute Raccoon" and "Code Contributor," with details such as the issuer, date, and acceptance status. The user profile for "Maho Pacheco" is displayed, featuring a colorful raccoon illustration and a "Follow" button.
Further details about the badges are shown, including the option to "View Details" and "View Credits." The video concludes with a badge titled "Early Adopter of a Secure Badge System," featuring an orange seal with a cat illustration and the text "Edgar." The video provides a comprehensive overview of the BadgeFed platform, emphasizing its features and user interface.
