Be great to have schedule sending back again but I did notice the audio transcription which sends the audio to #openai for transcription. 🫣

Not keen on this option for privacy reasons and I bet Open AI are using it for training voice data too? Will need to check the changes to the EULA - https://www.beeper.com/privacy.

Baaaam! With #Beeper, "you can have multiple #Signal accounts and multiple #WhatsApp accounts, all in one device... We figured out how to make this all run locally on your device, and so it’s just as secure as using one of these native apps" https://www.theverge.com/decoder-podcast-with-nilay-patel/693052/automattic-ceo-matt-mullenweg-wordpress-drama-wp-engine-open-source

Just finished listening to the newest episode of Decoder podcast ( @2123) containing a pretty hard hitting 1 hour interview of Matt Mullenweg ( @photomatt) by Nilay Patel (@reckless1280) where they talked about #Beeper, @tumblr, #ActivityPub vs #ATProto and or course the latest in WordPress (drama), regardless of what you think of Matt it was an interesting listen.

Is there a word for software that implements support for services that don't allow 3rd party client software? something like "adversarial interoperability"? I am using #Beeper as my main messenger app these days, with all the centralized platforms combined in one interface. When I run up against certain errors it makes me laugh at how fragile this all is. Beeper is the first app I have used that has actually provided a usable interface for this type of thing since Audium back in the day
