Update: I just shared the Italian version of the Fedi promo video with my parents. (I hadn’t dared send them the English one because they would not have understood a thing).

My mamma had the most mom-like response (see screenshot). Now awaiting a bullet point rebuttal by dad 😆

I also plan to quiz them tomorrow: “so what is the Fediverse?”

How did it go? So well that I've been fighting back tears for the past half hour.

Getting such warm, positive comments from builders and champions of the fediverse is EVERYTHING ❤️ Thank you @j12t for this opportunity.

I'm almost tempted to "deploy on a Friday" and share the link to the video now 😅 But nah, I know better. Tuesday it is! (Monday is a public holiday here)

Here is a sneak peek at the #Fediverse video I've been working on with @samaaberg & @TheLifeofTarzan. I feel super lucky to be doing this with them: they are brilliant! ✨

Sam & Riyen are two talented film students who are #NewHere: a mere 7 days ago they had no idea what the Fediverse was. I have the immense honor of introducing them to it.
