Which color was your first computer? 💻 🎨
@alterelefant Well for people born 20 years ago it's less likely their first computer was beige.
If you count my ti programmable calculator in like 78, then black.
@Em0nM4stodon ZX Spectrum+ with 48 _kB_ of RAM in a stylish black case. What is that RAM going for these days, $1k?
@Em0nM4stodon Black, grey and blue. #IBM1130
@Em0nM4stodon Had a lambda 8300. So beige and green
@Em0nM4stodon i got a used dark red C64. It was not painted, but red plastic. I have never found why it was red and where it came from. Never seen another example of red C64. Unfortunately it went somewhere when I got Amiga so it 's lost now.
@Em0nM4stodon My first PC (Escom 486) is still with me! The Keyboard and Monitor was also in black. Only the 3-button Logitec mouse was grey

No case. A perf board with DIP chips in wire-wrap sockets on top, and square pins and a rats nest of green wire on the bottom.
@Em0nM4stodon I feel very young now voting for black. (ó﹏ò。)
@Em0nM4stodon Wang Pro PC... kinda dirty green colour. Wierd! 🤷♂️
@Em0nM4stodon @Lazarou It was a bare circuit board.
Had to search because I remembered the computer quite well (TI99/4A) but not its color. (I'm somewhat colorblind and don't usually think of things in terms of their color unless I have some specific reason to.)
@Em0nM4stodon My first computer was an XT compatible that came with MS-DOS 3.2 and GEM 2.something in the late 1980s. Of course it was beige.
