Loops, l’alternativa federata a TikTok sviluppata da Daniel Supernault (lo stesso dietro Pixelfed), ha introdotto i messaggi diretti. Con la versione 1.0.3.5, disponibile su Google Play o tramite download dell’APK, debuttano anche le chat di gruppo, disponibili su web, Android e iOS.

La novità permette di condividere direttamente in un messaggio privato un video pubblicato su Loops, ma anche contenuti da Mastodon e Pixelfed, così da commentarli senza uscire dall’app. Chi preferisce restare fuori da queste dinamiche può comunque disattivare del tutto i DM dalle impostazioni.
