@catsalad This was Spike aka Spiky Spike-atollah. Spike was not our cat but kind of adopted himself to us. We had all the benefits with none of the responsibilities. He would come into our house and not leave lol. We would have to physically remove him. I miss spike
I would come home from a horrendous overtime shift as a nurse and spike would be there waiting and sit next to me and purr and be petted while I decompressed. even at 3AM. Greatest cat I never owned
@catsalad I have gotten a few DM's . Spike had great owners but for some reason he gravitated to us. I am not overly superstitious but he came to our doorstep right after my mom who we had in hospice at our house had passed. I often think she sent him our way. He really helped me with my grief. We were the only house we came too and was actually quite hostile to everybody else in the neighborhood lol
