I've lately been quite obsessed with this app called StreetComplete. It gamifies contributing to OpenStreetMaps in a really nice way by giving you you little quests to do while you walk around. A fun way to get some steps in, to make you look closer at your environment and to do a good thing!

@Techaltar thing is: I never think about the app whenever I'm somewhere where it might be useful. Around my house it's all done

I like the "look closer at your environment" part.
Since I started with #osm many moons ago, I see abd realize stuff that I did not before.
It's not a superpower, but sometimes registering a trashcan or toilett can be helpfull 😉
@Techaltar I downloaded it recently and it's been a lot of fun. My favorite are asking for opening times in a second language and counting steps on flights of stairs - a skill I've finally found a use for after all these years!
@Techaltar Dam useful and often allows users to input info that is valid and correct and ensures its not gatekeeped such as what happens with #googlemaps

@Techaltar It's my current day version of doing Geocaching. Maybe we have a new activity called "OSM Geocaching"?
When I travel to a place I haven't been before I like to figure out what data OSM needs, and figure it out. Fun, and helps others.
