#Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A small human (3?) is studiously pushing a small trolley along next to Mum.
Small Human has MANY opinions about what can go in his trolley. Chocolate? Yes. Bananas? Yes. Frozen spinach? NOOOO.
He is a grocery connoisseur and knows what he likes.

A man (70s?) is studying a Christmas lights display in a hardware store.
He mumbles.
He grumbles.
He scowls.
He turns to an employee (50s?) and says: "WHY NOW?!"
Employee bows and says: "For your personal entertainment mate. It did the job for at least five minutes there. You're welcome."

A slender man in a neat woolly jumper and suit pants (80s?) is standing before a selection of vegetable and herb seeds with his hands clasped behind his back, a faint smile on his face.
He turns to a passing woman and says: "This is the bit I like. All that potential!"

A woman (70s?) hurries after a man (30s?) who is striding through the power tool aisle of a hardware shop. Reaching him, she tells him to hold still and quickly tucks in the tag sticking out the top of his jumper.
Accepting his thanks with a cheerful grin.
A tiny good deed for the day.

A man (50s?) wearing a fleece jumper, shorts and bare feet is sitting next to a raised flower bed in his front garden. A huge pile of weeds next to him.
A faint smile on his face as he tilts his head to a momentary sunbeam.
Bees buzzing lawn daisies around him.
A well deserved break.

Any typos spotted in this post were rather cheered up this morning on seeing some Christmas lights they can put up around their garden to kick off the festive season a little early. It's been a monster of a year and anything positive is rather welcome. The typo's garden is going to be SPECTACULAR.

Also, on a completely different note, I'm going to be co-chairing an online book launch for the wonderful C.K. Mcdonnell (Caimh McDonnell) to celebrate the launch of his fifth Stranger Times novel, Ring the Bells. That's happening on a Facebook livestream and will be on the 9th of October (tomorrow) at 8pm UK time. Anyone who wants to see two friends nattering--one of them professional comedian, the other a daffy author who spots things--is more than welcome to stop on by.
