I have about 75 cm of fabric left over from my last haori project (145 cm in width), in a rough, lose-woven linen/cotton blend fabric. so I’m going to try it out with that. I will make mine the length of the fabric I have left, and go for a sort of loose tunic affair, for wearing over loose trousers. I will post if it isn’t a train-wreck. And, of course, if Dora will let me.

Sadly, I am at a standstill, since my sewing machine decided to break last night. Something going wrong in the bobbin seating. Anyway, I have a lovely guy repairing it at a service shop very near me. So return to our regular sewing programming as soon as I get it back. #sewing
This will mean I have some spare fabric but I’m aiming to make some strips of bias tape to finish off the neckline with it. So this will not be absolutely zero waste, but very damn close. I guess I could slap on some pockets if I had enough left over. #sewing
