Sometimes I feel the need to go back to analog.

Watches on this level are designed and manufactured to work for decades and decades. It's not uncommon for watches like this to just work 40 years provided that you sent them to an expert watch maker to maintain them

@catavz I like the Seiko 5 series. I haven't found a (reasonably cheap and in good conditions) one, yet.

@stefano such a good choice! I had an automatic Citizen (old thing, got it from my dad when I was a kid) and that thing was absolutely indestructible! Tons of scratches and scars but super reliable - I loved it.
Unfortunately I lost it on a beach many years ago 😭

@stefano Oohhh very nice! I like Longines - a very understated design philosophy. I took the plunge and bought myself a mechanical watch for my 60th. Amazing freedom not having to charge my watch every night.
