@neil “The company has five employees who create AI models, and it can take up to a month from idea inception to the completed product. The pair say they charge anywhere up to low six figures for a client like Guess.”

So it’s not even fast or cheap. You’re paying proper photoshoot money for it. Maybe not Rankin+top MUA+top stylist+top location money, but not a budget shoot either. I guess this is just “being the first” but it makes no actual business sense.

Levi Straus Jeans announced “AI models generating fashion models (AIGFM)” for their marketing & advertising in 2023 - https://www.levistrauss.com/2023/03/22/lsco-partners-with-lalaland-ai/

George E.P. Box said in 1976 paper, “All models are wrong but some are useful”.

As these AIGFM serve no useful purpose to me as a buyer of clothes, I’ll won’t be purchasing anything from them. The company can get their AIGFM to buy them instead as they pay them so generously.
