"The Apple" is near or at the top of my "How the hell did this movie ever get studio approval of the script, much less actually greenlighted and funded for production?". It's so bad it's ... well, it's something.
@cazabon Golan approved it and he directed it. I think it was entirely his idea, actually. Have you watched any of the documentaries about Cannon? They're all great.
