@smach Hmmm interesting. I've been licensed, on and off, since I was 14, in 1969. I'm currently an Amateur Extra Class license holder - N2VD, but have been inactive for about 25 years. Since I too retired, about 18 months ago, I'd love to hear more about your journey.
@jeffmarkel Hi nice to hear from you! 👋 I was VERY active in the late '80s and '90s. We rented houses with friends a few times to do Islands on the Air. Did other contests. DXCC. Passed a lot of emergency traffic in and out of Sarajevo during the war in Bosnia.
Currently investigating WinLink for sending regular email from an HT connected to a phone/PC app. May start listening to emergency nets again. I don't think things like FT8 digital contesting is for me, at least yet. Lots to mull!
