Giving up on attacking Greenland, home to 56,500, Trump now wants to attack Iran, home to 93,000,000.
That is more than twice the population of Afghanistan, which Trump pulled out of.
So why start a new forever war?
Like in Venezuela, Trump is not there to help the people. If the deeply disturbed, evil regime will give him a cut of the oil profits, they can keep killing and torturing their own people.

@randahl and… the geography of Iran makes it virtually impossible to invade and hold. Sure - you could bomb them to oblivion from a distance - but a ground invasion would be brutally tough.
I don’t think this matters to conservatives tho? Happy to just bomb them from a distance and call it war…
